DAY 01: ARRIVE COCHIN ‐ MUNNAR
Arrive Cochin airport. Meet & assist by our representative and drive straight to Munnar (Around 3 ½ hrs drive). Munnar ‐The so called “tea garden hill station of kerala”. On the way visit vallara and cheeyappara waterfalls and Blossom Garden. Evening, enjoy the beauty of tea garden. Munnar is arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala, and it is a hill station ‐ breathtakingly beautiful ‐ a haven of peace and tranquillity ‐ the idyllic tourist destination in God’s own country. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft. in Idukki district, Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. DAY 02: MUNNAR
Morning proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park (15 km) to view endangered wild goat ‘ Nilgiri Tahr’.(National Park is Closed From 21st Jan to 15th Apr during breeding season). Visit Tea Museum (03Km) and the Tea factory (Closed on Mondays and Good Friday) , Mattupetty Dam (13km) and Kundala Lake (28km).Overnight stay at the hotel. Working Time 9am to3pm Eravikulam National Park: A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr. Munnar is among the crown jewels of God’s Own Country and has attracted visitors from around the world for centuries due to its natural splendour. Hidden inside, lies the famous Eravikulam National Park, the home and sanctuary of the Nilgiri Tahr. The park also boasts of hosting South India’s highest peak, Anamudi (2695 m), in its southern area. This park is spread over an area of 97 square kilometers and packs tons of fun spots forpeople to have a good time in Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight at Munnar.
DAY 03: MUNNAR ‐ THEKKADY
Morning after breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady (around 3 ½ hrs drive). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Thekkady, one of India’s major wildlife sanctuaries, sprawled over an area of 777sq.kms is rich in varied flora and fauna. It is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations of tea, cardamom, pepper, cloves and cinnamon in the High Ranges and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks. Afternoon proceed for Spice plantation visit later visit Periyar wild life sanctuary and enjoy a boating through Periyar Lake to see the wildlife in close range. DAY 04: THEKKADY ‐ ALLEPPEY
Morning after leisurely breakfast, check out and transfer to Alleppey (Around 04 hours drive). Upon arrival check in to your Hotel and relax Referred to as the Venice of the East, Alappuzha has always enjoyed an important place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, it is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Enjoy at the beach. There is also an old lighthouse nearby which is greatly fascinating tovisitors. Overnight at Alleppey
DAY 05: ALLEPPEY ‐ KOVALAM
Morning after breakfast checks out and proceeds to Kovalam (around 4 hrs drive) Kovalam ‐ breathtakingly beautiful ‐ a haven of peace and tranquillity ‐ the idyllic tourist destination in God’s own country. Kovalam offers an excellent diversity with Kovalam beach to suit all desires and occasions. Visit light house beach and Hawah beach. The beach complex includes a string of budget cottages, Ayurvedic health resorts, and convention facilities, shopping zones, swimming pools, Yoga and Ayurvedic massage centres. DAY 06: KOVALAM ‐ TRIVANDRUM ‐ KOVALAM
Morning after a leisurely breakfast, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum Proceed for sightseeing at Trivandrum. Visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple (16 km) which is 16th century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is the most impressive landmark of the city. Visit Trivandrum Zoo, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum ‐(16km) (Closed on Mondays, Wednesday, Govt Holidays, Visiting time :1.00 PM to 4.45 PM), Science and technology museum (Closed on Mondays) etc. Enjoy sun set in the evening relaxing on the beach. DAY 07: KOVALAM ‐ DEPART TRIVANDRUM
Morning at 06:00 AM check out from the Hotel and proceed to Cochin airport (around 06 hrs drive) to board your onwards destination flight on time.
