DAY 01: ARRIVE BANGALORE ‐ MYSORE
Arrive Bangalore. Pick up Airport/ Railway station and drive straightto Mysore (Around3 ½ hrs drive). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Known as the city of palaces, Mysore is the second largest city in Karnataka and is located at the base of the Chamundi hills. With its glittering royal heritage, its monuments and its buildings, it has become one of the most famous tourist destinations of south India. The Mysore Palace has been listed as a world heritage site and is an palace are just as beautiful as the exterior when lit up on Sundays and festive occasions. Visit Chemarajendra Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo, Maharaja’s Palace, Brindavan Garden etc. Overnight stay at the hotel. Note: Mysore Zoo will be Closed on all Tuesdays. Overnight at Mysore.
DAY 02: MYSORE ‐ COORG
After breakfast proceed to Coorg (3½ hrs). Coorg is popularly termed as Scotland of India. Rich food and spicesisin short termed Coorg. Smell the coffee, taste the oranges, flavour with cardamom and savourthe honey Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Proceed to visit the coffee plantations, Honey Farms and Cardamom plantations. Visit the spectacular Abbi Falls and Raj’s seat where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Misty Coorg Valley. DAY 03: COORG
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Coorg. Visit Talcauvry (the origin point of River Cauvery) Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river) and Dobare Elephant Camp. Later visit the ancient Onkareshwara Temple, Madikeri fort etc. In the evening, shop at Madikeri town. Talakaveri, is the place where the River Kaveri originates. The temple on the riverbanks here is dedicated to Lord Brahma, and is one of only two temples dedicated to Brahma in India and Southeast Asia. Bhagamandala is situated at the Sangam (confluence) of two rivers, the Kaveri and the Kanika. A third river, the Sujyothi, is said to join from underground, and hence this spot is called the Triveni Sangam. Iruppu Falls is a sacred Kodagu Hindu spot in South Kodagu in the Brahmagiri hill range. Later drive back to your resort and overnight at Coorg.
DAY 04: COORG ‐ OOTY
After breakfast check out and proceed to Ooty (around 06 to 07 hrs drive). Ooty, a popular hill station and famous for pleasing climate, fruit orchards, beautiful waterfalls and scenic landscapes of Nilgris hills. This is located in the Western Ghats zone at an altitude of 2240 mtrs. It is the headquarters of the Nilgiri District, where the two mountain ranges meet. Udhagamandalam, popularly called as OOTY by the tourist, isthe Queen of Hill Stations. Coffee and Tea Plantations and trees like Conifers, Eucalyptus, Pine and Wattle dot the hill side in Udhagamandalam and its environs. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight at Ooty.
DAY 05: OOTY
Morning after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour. Places of interest are Botanical Garden, Doddabetta, Ooty Lake, and Rose Garden etc. Botanical garden is laid out in 1848. The Gardens, divided into several sections, cover an area of around 22 hectares, and lie on the lower slopes of Doddabetta peak. The garden has a terraced layout. It is maintained by the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Department. It ascendsthe slopes of the hill at an elevation of 2250–2500 metres above Mean Sea Level. The garden enjoys a temperate climate, with an average rainfall of 140 cm, the most of which is received during south‐west monsoon, with frosty nights from November to February. The maximum and minimum temperatures are 28 °C and 0 °C respectively. Overnight at Ooty.
DAY 06: OOTY ‐ BANGALORE
Morning after breakfast check out and back to Bangalore. Upon arrival check into your Hotel Bengaluru (also called Bangalore) is the capital of India’s southern Karnataka state. The center of India’s high‐tech industry, the city is also known for its parks and nightlife. By Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha is a Neo‐Dravidian legislative building. Former royal residences include 19th‐century Bangalore Palace, modeled after England’s Windsor Castle, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an 18th‐century teak structure If time permits visit Cubbon Park and Museum (01 Km), Government Museum (01 Km), Tippu’s Palace (04 Km), The Fort, Bull temples (05 km), Vankappa Art Gallery (02 Km) . DAY 07: DEPART BANGALORE
Morning after breakfast check out and transfer to Bangalore Airport to board your onward destination flight on time.
